DIY Brush Roll

For all your girls out there - how simple/awesome/fabulous! is this?!?! I was reading over at The Small Things blog and fell in love with Kate's idea. I have been looking for a brush bag/travel kit for quite awhile now, so when I saw this I wanted to jump up and down. Ok, I'm exaggerating a little bit, but this is perfect! Plus, I bought me a little sewing machine so I can do this!! Which is why I think I got "sew" excited. (sew, get it? - lmao, wow, I'm such a dork - I can see Brad rolling his eyes right now.)

I love her idea about using it as a gift as well, such a simple and inexpensive gift!

If anyone tries this, let me know how it goes, or heck send me some pictures!

A little history

After high school I moved to Tucson, Arizona where I worked full time as a computer technician while getting my Associates degree, Paralegal. I then worked at the Arizona Attorney General's Office as a paralegal doing forfeiture cases – loved it! I knew that I didn’t want to be a paralegal the rest of my life, but wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to do. I was seriously thinking about going into the FBI when I met my husband and moved to Kansas. I decided that the FBI wouldn’t be good for family life, and decided to pursue my other dream of working in medicine as a PA. I am currently working as an office assistant while applying to PA school. I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and stepson playing video games, bowling or whatever family activity we decide on.
